There is ongoing debate about the nature and direction of the UK-EU relationship, but one thing remains clear: ports continue to play a vital role in fostering connection, cooperation, and shared economic opportunity.
Recent meetings in Brussels with port colleagues from across Europe reaffirmed the deep friendships and collaborative spirit that exist among us. These relationships are more important than ever as we collectively navigate major challenges and opportunities.
Whether on matters of security, geopolitical shifts, the energy transition, or mutually beneficial trade, ports stand at the heart of what comes next for our economies and for global prosperity.
